May I Drop-In Anytime to Visit My Child??

Absolutely! Little learners Daycare has an open-door policy for parents/guardian to check in on their child at any time.

What kind of curriculum do you use?

We call our program E.P.A.L. ( Everyday Play And Learn). Academic research shows that children experience more when they are learning while having fun. The program is to help each child develop at their own pace, and be confident at what they do. The program includes:

Hands-on activities that allow children to learn through experience.

A classroom that promotes a warm, nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional, Language, Physical, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Studies, and Art.

A daily schedule that ensures children have time for independent exploration and discovery every day.

Are all adults working in Little Learners background checked?

California law requires a background check for any adult who owns, lives in, or works in a licensed child care home or center. Each of these adults must submit fingerprints so that a background check can be done to see if they have any history of crime. If we find that a person has been convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation, he/she cannot work or live in the licensed child care home or center.
