Do the children go outside every day?
Teachers provide outdoor playtime and plan nature walks. If the weather permits, children play outside every day!
May I drop in anytime to visit my child?
Absolutely! Little Learners Daycare has an open-door policy for parents and guardians to check in on their child at any time.
What kind of curriculum do you use?
We call our program E.P.A.L. (Everyday Play And Learn). Research shows children learn more when they’re having fun. The program helps each child develop at their own pace and feel confident in what they do. It includes:
- Hands-on activities that let children learn through experience.
- A warm, nurturing classroom that supports social-emotional, language, physical and cognitive growth, plus literacy, math, science and technology, social studies and art.
- A daily schedule with time for independent exploration and discovery every day.
Are all adults at Little Learners background checked?
Yes. California law requires a background check for any adult who owns, lives in or works in a licensed child care home or center. Each adult submits fingerprints for a criminal history check. Anyone convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation cannot work or live in the licensed home.
